Sirius

boat0057The ferry Sirius transported people across the St. Lawrence River from Massena to Cornwall and back. In 1908, the Sirius would leave Massena at 9am and arrive in Cornwall at 10:15am. She would leave Cornwall at 4pm for the return trip and arrive in Massena at 5:30pm.

The boat capsized in 1911 claiming seven lives.
