The Keywest was a sister ship to the Keydon. The ship was built in Blyth, England by Cowpen Shipping and Drydock Co., in 1927 and christened the Surewater. Originally owned by Water Transports Ltd. (Montreal Light, Heat & Power Co.), in 1939 it was transferred to Keystone Transports Ltd. From 1957 to 1960 she sailed for La Verendrye Line. She was broken up in 1961.
